Exterior Lighting

Due to technological and architectural advancements exterior lighting fixtures have also shown great improvement in recent years.

Previously, very simple and high wattage products were preferred where as today exterior lighting has become as complex as interior lighting and a wide variety of elements are used.

With the improvement of LED lighting technology and their low energy consumption, exterior lighting fixtures have become a part of architectural design.

The most important aspect of exterior lighting is their efficient lighting with their low energy consumption.

Bollard



They are usually runder 120cm’s in height. Depending on choice, there are both direct and indirect types available. They are mainly used in patios, gardens, docks and similar exterior areas. They are IP65 category products meaining that they are resistant to water and weather conditions.

Lamp Posts

They are prefferd in large area exterior lighting. Types up to 5m’s are generally for decorative purposes where as types over 5m’s are used for large area lighting. Bulbs with high light efficiency and low energy consumption are used. There are a wide variety of models available.

Recessed Fixtures



They are recessed fixtures which can be applied on walls or floors. They are mostly preferred for bringing out architectural aspects of the structure. Since the light source is hidden, they tend to create a warm atmosphere. Recently they are mostly used in structures where exteriors are important.

Projectors



They are light sources with high efficiency and low energy consumption. They are mainly prefferd for lighting building exteriors, hotel gardens, parks and areas which require mass lighting.
