Wall Lamp
  
Provides direct and indirect lighting. It’s fixed on walls. Recommended fixing height is 1.80 m’s. Wiring should be pre installed. It’s usually preferred in the living room or bathrooms in the house. It is usually used to complement the decoration in hotels, restaurants and showrooms.
Chandeliers
  
Provides direct and indirect lighting. It’s fixed on ceilings. It is generally used as an over table or general purpose lighting element in the house. Hotels, restaurants and showrooms prefer them for decorative purposes and general purpose lighting.
Floor Lamp
  
Provides indirect lighting. Does not require installation and it is portable. It is generally used as a general source for lighting in homes and offices. They are capable of using higher wattage bulbs compared to others.
Downlight
  
Although mostly preferred by offices, downlight has become popular in homes in the past few years. Both, types with low wattage halogen lamps and energy saving bulbs are available. Since they require recessed installation, the ceiling must be appropriate. Depending on the area halogen, metal halide or energy saving bulb types can be used.
Table Lamp
  
It is one of the oldest known types of lighting. Although mainly used for decorative purposes, it can be used as a general purpose light source. Providing a constant homogenous light, it is ideal for homes and hotels.
Ceiling Lamp
  
Both direct and indirect models are available. Since it is installed on ceilings, it is generally preferred where ceiling heights are below average. They are usually used for general purpose lighting in bathrooms, balconies and kitchens.
